As the premier helicopter museum in the country it focuses on the science and technology of vertical flight to educate and inspire all generations. The museum displays over 35 civilian and military helicopters, autogiros and convertaplanes. Visitors can climb aboard various helicopters for a truly unique hands-on experience. The museum is located in historic West Chester, Pennsylvania, in the cradle of this nation's rotary wing aviation that still thrives today. The museum features many of the earliest rotary aircraft, as well as the third V-22 tilt-rotor Osprey manufactured.
